Faceless Well Wishers.

From Sanjana

after i sent a common message on orkut, one of my ex-collegues sent this out to all her contacts.I thought it was very nice of her to take the trouble to go through our website and endorse our cause like this :)

“Hi all,

Sanjana Kuruvilla and I worked together in Ma Foi in 2006, she then went on to become an entrepreneur and she also is a part of a voluntary organisation called – M.A.D,  this organisation is doing amazing work and is very inspirational as well. Please take time to read about them- http://www.makeadiff.in/. Also as the mail below from her explains, they have been shortlisted for an international award, do take time, and I am sure you will agree that they deserve the award. This mail is not just to seek your vote, but to bring to your notice the novel idea and humane work. There are opportunities to reach out, we need to seek it…..

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,
Subashini

From Nikhila

“Dear All,

This is a forward from my niece Nikhila Ramesh who is the secretary of ‘Make A Difference’ (MAD) an NGO operating from Ernakulam. Nikhila has detailed the activities of the NGO which is self explanatory and also their recent recognition of reaching the top 15 of the Staples Youth Social Entrepreneur Competition. Kindly make the time to cast your vote and make sure that MAD wins the Staples Youth Social Entrepreneur Competition as I am personally aware of the fantastic work done by the kids associated with MAD.

Thanks & Regards,

Jayashri Muralli”

“Hi Niki,

I voted! I had fwd this link to some of my colleagues and have got confirmed responses from 15 of them.

There could be more who have not responded. Lets hope there are enough votes to get the sponsorship!

Regards,

Saridha”

Whoa, the Alchemist connection was a bit deep, but then again, these are inspiring days for all of us…

Anyhow, there are lots more stories like this I believe..

A friend of mine from Trivandrum, who had always been interested in our project, and always wanted to know when Mad would come to his city, was really excited about this..

Even though it’s his exams and he is supposed to be studying, he sits and canvasses votes at night, and asks his friends to change their pic to the blue badge as well..

In the end, I think he does more campaigning than I do…!!

    :)
