Who remembers the day when we first applied for the Ashoka Award??

Or the day when we found out that we were among the final fifteen??

Pretty vague memories eh?? Seems eons back that it happened….

Though, I’m confident that everybody remembers the day that we found out we won.. The screaming, and the jumping, and the neighbours who came rushing in, to find out who had just died, and all that… (

Whew.. Somewhere deep down, I still can’t believe it happened.. But, it did.. And so began the planning for the Mad-ba-Que (a.k.a Award Debriefing session)

Though most people would dread such occasions, Jithin Sr just might hijack the mike and make us all regret showing up, Man, it was one heck of a day…

Lessons learnt on the day :

1. Barbecues might look cool, but getting them together is like getting Sanjana to forgive you for being late to class…

2. Coal doesn’t burn that easily.

3. We need to recruit a good DJ very soon for future events. (Sr. and Jonva never to be trusted again)

4. Most Mad people are unaware of their surroundings while eating ice cream..

5. Kenney is into fashion.. (not kidding!!)

6. Mad get-togethers are just way too much fun !!

Anyhow, it was good to have you there (if you were there).. And Mr. Prez, take note, I speak for everyone when I say..

WE WANT MORE!!!
