MAD beginnings and MADder endings

The Scene: A cosy little living room on a peaceful Sunday morning. A laptop in the corner belts out music from all over the world- Bryan Adams, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Celtic music, Spanish music- the works. The floor is littered with old newspapers. The newspapers are being cut, folded, stapled and cellotaped into hats. 
The Players: A bunch of youngsters who came together to spread a little more MADness in the city of Trivandrum. 
The Event:   A Three-in-one party. That is to say, a Going Away party for the volunteers leaving …

Cricket Camp At Shnehabavan, Day 1

The kids at Shnehabavan, Palluruthy are having a five day cricket coaching class starting from 20th of May. The camp is handled by Jino who is very passionate about cricket. He is even thinking of taking it up professionally.

Cochin Process Training: Gearing our newbies!

The Process Training session for Cochin volunteers was held on 2ndMay 2010, at our ever reliable and available venue: Rotary Bal Bhavan, Panampilly Nagar. It was quite heartening to see over 70% of the newbies make it to the gearing-up ritual or rather the initiation ceremony.

COCHIN RECRUITMENT DRIVE 2: 9th May

The vastness of Cochin called out for more Maddies and we were responding by setting up another recruitment drive shortly after the first one. The venue was the Rotary Balbhavan which offered a realistic ambiance for the upcoming ‘teachers for the cause’. As the vibrant volunteers started turning up at 9′o’clock, things got rolling amidst chit chat.

Palluruthy Camp in Cochin

Palluruthy Don Bosco and Snehabhavan had their annual three week camp and MAD was invited to conduct a few sessions. Mr Krishnakumar, an HR by profession, helped us with the camp.
