Another bright Sunday morning dawned upon us MAD folk here in Mangalore and we actually marveled to ourselves “Is it time for another recruitment drive already?” We had been laying all the groundwork over the past few weeks and time had literally been a blur as we covered almost every inch of every campus in Mangalore to let people know about the forthcoming rec drive.

The first recruitment drive of 2010-11 in Cochin is over. It was a ‘houseful’ event – 61 people turned up. It was way more than what I(or anyone else) expected. The event was held at Avenue Regent on the 25th of April – three days ago. We are really grateful to the Avenue Regent management(especially Mr Rejith) for providing us the venue free of cost.

Three weeks of planning. Hundreds of phone calls. Dozens of meetings. And even a few hours of actual work. All for one thing – Cochin MAD Volunteer Recruitment Drive. And its this Sunday – to be precise, on the 25th of April at 9:30 AM. Location: Top Secret. The only way you can get the location is if you register for the event. Or if you bribe one of our Core Team members(for example, me) with a choclate cake.

Interesting plans, methodical executions, soft but demanding leadership, extra-ordinary clarity, backed with openness to suggestions and humility.
