Pallu Snehabhavan Camp!!!
Hey all maddies!!The camp was total fun..everyone enjoyed it to the core…It was held at palluruthy snehabhavan on 27th and 28th of Feb.We had planned lots of unending fun filled sessions for the kids….
Day 1:
35 out of 64 kids accompanied by 6 volunteers were taken to Naval Base, Kochi to enjoy 4 hours of commando exercises.All had so much fun crawling through tyres,climbing ropes.They also had a tour of diving institute,the museum,training and equipment room.

After lunch the kids had a motivation and stress buster session by Mr N.R Menon.It was truly an inspiring and motivating session about dealing exams with no fear…the kids interacted well with him and asked their doubts regarding exam fear.
By 4.00 pm the snehabhavan team got dressed up in their jerseys for a football match with the team from S.H Thevara.We also had Mr K.Raveendran the coach of the Thevara team explaining all the rules and ethics of football.

Frankly speaking the match was the second best thing that happened in the camp.They did’nt look like amateurs at all,all looked like pros.They did bent the ball like Beckham!!What a match!!!

Yayee!!!Campfire!!!this was the next best thing at the camp .It was non-stop masti with the kids dancing to Tamil songs..We somehow managed to the keep wood burning till the end and learned how not to light a campfire..(thanks to the Jonva and Paul for their fire fighting skills)
Day 2:
All the kids were excited..They wore their new MAD T-shirts..all were thrilled to see Cine actresses Jyothirmayi and Samvratha Sunil who interacted with the kids.The kids also presented amazing dance performances,and also played Antakshari with them…all the kids had a wonderful time with them.
Next we had a dance session by an NGO called Sanchaara.They spent quality time with the kids and taught them dance movements..which helped them understand their talents
in them.The kids never got bored they danced with full ease… better than us.
After lunch we had organized a session on art and design by Rotarian Mr.Ramesh,Rotarian Mr. Kishore and Mr.Sreejith.All the kids were asked to use their creativity and imagination into action and draw what nature looks like.It looked like a smaller version of the song Kholo..Kholo..Darwaaza..All of them made beautiful paintings..
We also organized a Talent show for the kids with the help of Shubhashish..We had performances from break dances to comedy skits.. it was really wonderful to see them on stage showing their talents…
Yipee!!Music,Dance and Campfire!!..the last programme on our list….All of us danced till our energy drained out.The kids enjoyed it a lot.
