It was during the technical festival “Zephyr’09” of Thakur College of Engineering & Technology (TCET) that MAD was introduced to the technocrats of various colleges across Mumbai.

This festival under the tag ‘technical’ aims at integrating various technical & non-technical events together and brings in people to have a blast. This festival went on from 8^th to 10^th October, 2009 & had a foot fall of approximately 7000. Fortunately MAD managed to get a desk at a prime location among the big sponsors.

There were continuous announcements being made throughout the TCET campus about MAD and the opportunities people have to serve the society through MAD. Banners were put across various locations, fliers describing MAD were distributed among people & Zephyr volunteers were of great help in publicizing MAD and bringing people to the MAD desk. The response was quite good. People came to our desk and registered themselves for being MAD volunteers and we managed to spread quite the MADness in the entire campus.

To see the technical (so called geeks) guys come and devote some time in between their competitions was indeed a nice thing. All in all, MAD managed to create quite a stir in the quiet campus of Thakur during Zephyr
