MAD Pune. FOM Meet.
We had our first FOM met in the city today!– FRIday the 30th– At Barista, Law college road, where MAD, Pune has like 90% of their meetings! It turned out to be quite a crazy one! There’s a reason we’re called MAD! We gather to discuss the FOM plan for the city.. and land up having conversations about cow farts and the food grain crisis in India! It all started in all seriousness with Madhura and Varki wanting to give us some little information to ‘increase’ our knowledge( I suppose). Definitely dint stay at that!
So based on what MADhura has to say,India could definitely be one of the biggest ‘contributors’ to global warming! And its only because of the number of cows in India! Doesn’t add up?.. Well apparently, the methane in cow farts( :-p ) increases global warming!! Then followed a full fledged discussion on cow farts and global warming, how India has the most number of cows and what should be done to tackle it! Varki came up with some brilliant(!) idea of trapping the gas(farts) and using it! — Now we know where his interests lie!
After the meet, the very active Mr. Rohit Rathi, V.P HR was on a roll! Since all of us have great ambitions of making MAD totally big and to take it on a grander than grand scale, we ( by we I mostly mean Rohit here) were brainstorming on ideas and what MAD would be 10 years down the line! Be prepared! Firstly, MAD shall appear on the country’s stock market.. Shares of MAD shall be invested in! According to Mr. Rathi , MAD shall be so big that one day there wil be MAD temples! With statues of Jithin and GLo devi (!) and the rest! There shall be a MAD wellness centres too, along with a political party with and for MADsters! However, he stole the show with this one- MAD cigarettes! Long ones for Jithin( TALL Jithin!) and shorter ones for Varki! Soo… Thats how Rohit’s brain worked today!
Sujanya on the other hand had some special requests for our FOM team. I really am not entitled to reveal them here, since I have to work with her, i intend not to be murdered on our next meeting day. The team is trying really hard to satisfy her with her request.
We did do some work, in case you all were wondering. We did decide our targets for this year and finalized the FOM team. Also delegated work accordingly. Our next meeting takes place tuesday. Lot of work to be done! Looking forward to it — atleast everyone seems to be, since enthusiasm runs high!
