Chennai Recruitment Strategies
As we approach the new academic year, MAD Chennai team is very excited about the challenges ahead! And our first one was the recruitment drive!
Our volunteers came up with innovative ideas and proved yet again that they are the die hard fans of technology. They covered almost every popular site in the networking world. Ideas were exchanged rapidly: While two blurted out “youth communities like colleges, theatre groups, hangouts etc, on orkut” and “Area Pal” [a website that connects youngsters from different pockets of the city], another questioned “When companies target naukri.com for recruitment, why not target the youth community on Ibibio”. “Indi blogger” [a forum for bloggers from across the country] said another. Of course, we didn’t leave the most common and the easiest way to spread the word – SMS!
As efficient as bees, in just a couple of days Chennai made sure more than 1000 profiles got the message!

Here comes our BEST strategy, and we think the national team SHOULD experiment this!
Facebook and Google Ads – Brought in a huge number of hits and registrations! In a matter of 2 days, we had more than 50 registrations on our website. Isn’t that amazing? It just costed us Rs.5/ad for facebook and Rs.12/ad for Google. And oh, more than 10 of these people were present at the workshop
